FEATURED SERVICES

Research and evaluation are the foundation of sound decision-making and policy implementation in the social, justice and policy sectors. Our services provide the right impact and outcome data to allow government and community stakeholders to create policies and programs that help those who need it most.

SOCIAL + JUSTICE

RESEARCH

Fourteen Fields helps governments, institutions, and non-government organizations gather data and conduct research needed to make informed decisions on social and justice issues. Our team uses qualitative and quantitative sociological methodologies to provide sound and synthesized research on human behaviour and societal issues. Services include research design, literature reviews, stakeholder surveys, focus groups, environmental scans, program development frameworks, ethics applications and reviews, data analysis, report writing, and presentations of findings for stakeholders.

PROGRAM

DEVELOPMENT

Have an idea for a new pilot project or community initiative and aren't sure how to get your idea off the ground? Fourteen Fields has helped organizations create new pilot projects, develop staffing positions to add capacity, and further develop existing programs that need a boost. A strong foundation based on research and best practices helps organizations best utilize their funding dollars and create a successful program with big impacts.

GLADUE

REPORTS

PROGRAM

EVALUATION

Fourteen Fields uses a variety of evaluation methods to help governments and NGOs determine the impact and outcomes of the policies, programs and projects they implement. It is through rigorous and ongoing evaluation that a program or policy can adapt and grow to better serve its stakeholders. We offer several evaluation services: framework design, project logic models, theories of change, the creation of data collection and analysis processes, social return on investment (SROI), feasibility studies, gap analysis, grant reporting, report writing and recommendation development.

GRANT

WRITING

Government and private grants provide the financial resources that are crucial to the implementation of programs and projects. Whether it's needed for pilot funding or ongoing support, grants promote the development of community-based initiatives that create positive changes in society. The experienced grant writers at Fourteen Fields have secured millions of dollars in grants for various Canadian organizations

Pre-sentencing and bail hearing reports written specifically for Indigenous offenders under Section 718.2(e) of the Criminal Code, also known as Gladue Reports, provide judges with background information on the social factors inherent to the individual that should be examined when considering sentencing options. Gladue factors include effects of the Residential School system, family history of mental health and/or addictions issues, contact with the child welfare system, effects of the dispossession and/or dislocation of Indigenous people, and other factors.
